          If you have a concern about a student service located on the St. George Campus, your first step is to talk to the Director of the service.

Space requests

Space bookings and events at the Multi-Faith Centre are available for fall 2023 and winter 2024.

The Multi-Faith Centre, at 569 Spadina Crescent, has four rooms of varying sizes available for prayer, worship and other spiritual practices, as well as educational events including meetings, conferences, panel discussions and forums.

Student groups may book space free of charge. University community may also book space for professional and academic retreats, and educational events for a fee.

The Multi-Faith Centre’s Meditation Room (KP215) is open Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. for drop-in.

The University of Toronto’s St. George campus also offers several multi-purpose spaces suitable for prayer and other spiritual practices.

    Main Activity Hall at Multi-Faith Centre.

    The largest configurable space in the Multi-Faith Centre with a marble ceiling and wall facing east.

    Available for conferences, lectures, meditations, professional and academic retreats, and other ceremonies. The space is designed with a ventilation system to accommodate ceremonies with smoke and/or fire.

    • Lecture style seats 160
    • Dinner style seats 70
    • Boardroom style seats 40
    • Meditation style seats 30-60

    Screen, rectangular tables and chairs are available.

    Multi-Purpose Room, Room KP207

    The second-largest configurable space in the Multi-Faith Centre.

    Available for small meetings, lectures, breakout sessions, meditations, professional and academic retreats, and other events.

    • Lecture style seats 30
    • Dinner style seats 20
    • Boardroom style seats 10-15
    • Meditation style seats 10-15
    • Drop-in space
    • Mats, rectangular tables and chairs are available.

    Meditation Room, Room KP215

    • Available for meditations, prayer, reflection sessions for up to 10 people.

    • Mats, rectangular tables, and chairs are available.

    Quiet Room, Room KP307

    Quiet room at Multi-Faith Centre.

    The third largest configurable space in the Multi-Faith Centre.

    Available for small meetings, lectures, breakout sessions, meditations, professional and academic retreats, and other events.

    • Lecture style seats 20
    • Dinner style seats 10
    • Boardroom style seats 10-15
    • Meditation style seats 10-15

    2nd Floor Kitchen, Room KP202

    Large catering style kitchen (no stove), dishwasher, stainless steel preparation and cleaning areas with a large fridge.

    Available when other space(s) booked.
